PAST SIMPLE

1. USOS:

Acción empezada y acabada en el pasado.
Por ejemplo: I went to school yesterday.

2. ESTRUCTURA:

-Afirmativa: Sujeto+verbo en pasado+complementos
Ejemplos: She cooked bread last night/ I drank milk

-Negativa: Sujeto+ didn't + verbo en infinitivo+ complementos
Ejemplos: You didn't study English / We didn't go to school yesterday

-Interrogativas: Did+ sujeto+ Verbo en infinitivo+ complementos
Ejemplos: Did you like the cinema?/ Did your friends write a letter?

3. EXPRESIONES TEMPORALES:

Cuando hablamos en pasado utilizamos algunas expresiones temporales y adverbios. Como por ejemplo:

-Yesterday: ayer
-Last week/weekend/month/year: la semana pasada, el pasado fin de semana, el pasado mes, año.
- An specific date in the past: una fecha concreta en el pasado: in 1997...
-Ago:hace... I lived in London 3 years ago / Viví en Londres hace 3 años.
